Expand your palate and stretch your mind while learning to taste wine like a pro in this enlightening and fun class suitable for all levels. Developed by Chiara  Shannon, WSET Advanced sommelier and RYT 500 yoga professional, The Yogi  Sommelier Mindful Wine Course incorporates basic principles of yoga, mindfulness and the disciplined approach to wine tasting as taught to professional sommeliers.

The practices of yoga and  mindfulness ground us in the present moment and help us cultivate  greater awareness. Basic practices of breath control, focusing on the present, and becoming a witness to our sense experience are fundamental  to tasting wine. With Chiara as your guide, you will learn to navigate your sense memory, discover new pathways of wine appreciation, and emerge with the skill set and  language of a wine professional.

Course is 60 minutes and will include: 

-Mindfulness Practice to Focus the Mind

-The Principles of Mindful Wine Tasting

-Guided Wine Tasting - How to Taste with Intention

-Group Discussion / Q & A 

-Mindful Wine Resource

Does not include wine. You can participate with or without wine. You can use wines you have or purchase suggested wines, details provided upon confirmation.

No experience necessary. Must be 21+. 

This class takes place via Zoom.
